2disc unfriendly to mac computers  Aug 16, 2010
This CD (disc, case, book) is in great shape and I love the album. However, the disc does not play or even function on MacBook laptops. I do not know why although I have heard of this before vaguely. I can play the disc on my dvd player but the sound is not as good. I will have to burn a usable CD of this album from my roomates computer. I didn't want to return it because it wasn't expensive and I like the music. However, I will not buy from this seller again. I did not see anything on their description about not being able to use the CD on Macs. Their products are not very useful to me.

Thank you.

2Don't bother  Jul 06, 2010
This CD sounds like an album full of wanna be chart topping singles. There is 1 awesome song and 2 or 3 OK songs. The rest pretty much sucks. Almost all of the songs sound the same for the first 5 or 6 times i listened to the CD. The lyrics are a bit pretentious and it sounds like she wicshes she was famous not a good musician just my opinion. Go buy an Ivy, Sarah Blasko, Natalie Merchant, or Laura Veirs CD. You will be much happier with your purchase.

5Love her then and now  Apr 27, 2010
I bought this CD on Amazon at the same time I bought the second one (which I also reviewed and sang her praises). I love Allison, and her voice and her music, and evern though I had the burned copy of this CD i decided to buy it because I wanted to be able to have a hard copy of it because I lvoed it that much.

1A Fine ??? Frenzy  Jan 24, 2010
Big let down all the way around. She changed her album cover, and it looks like death now. Almost Lover is the only decent song. She needs to throw the rest of it out to sea! Beautiful girl, horrible music!

3Nice voice but too monotonous  Jan 08, 2010
This artist can definately sing and is a very strong candidate for the production of an album, but the music that all of her songs are set to sounds the same for much of the album. There are a couple of songs that set themselves apart, but I can't say that for even half of the songs. I truly did want to love this album, but it just isn't meant to be even after listening to it several times through. Good voice, decent lyrics, but the synthetic feel and monotony of the music brings it down.
