A fun and educational puzzle! Mar 26, 2010

My 15-month old son loves this puzzle from Melissa and Doug. He loves how each animal has a different texture that he can touch and explore. He loves to try to imitate the animal sounds for each animal. The pieces are easy to take out and put in because they are large and slightly raised from the puzzle board. This puzzle will be fun for him for a long time as he learns to do it by himself. The pieces and board are also very durable and high-quality. So far, all Melissa and Doug toys and puzzles I have bought are great. I would recommend buying this puzzle as well as their deluxe wire puzzle storage rack.

Love Melissa & Doug puzzles!! May 10, 2010

My son is almost two and for the past several months he has loved playing with Melissa and Doug puzzles. They are bright, sturdy, and the chunky pieces are easy for him to manipulate. He has learned so many words from us playing with the puzzles together. This one is special in that it has textured material on each animal, but he hasn't really seemed to notice that much.

Both items were presents for my little grand-daughter's birthday. She is having a "zoo" themed party so I thought these would be perfect gifts. Her family loves visiting different zoos. The book lists all different animals, even some very unique creatures! The puzzle was very colorful with some texture to it that I'm sure will appeal to little ones.

This toy arrived very quickly and in perfect condition. I had it in plenty of time for Easter. My daughter loves making the animal sounds of each creature as she figures out where they belong.
