Fits an adult head - not really for children Jun 04, 2012

Purchased for a 21 month old boy. His head was swallowed up in it. I am an older adult and I can wear it, and it's even a little big for me.
This is NOT a childs hat. Very misleading.
The hat is very cute. Cutesy even. So an older boy child probably wouldn't wear it.
Quite honestly, I doubt anyone will wear it, so I have wasted my money. I have my own hats, don't need an Octopus hat. The boy won't be able to wear it until he's outgrown the cutesy part of it.
I am disappointed in the advertising of this item. I would not recommend as a child's hat.

By Xuan-Trang Tran-Thien Hat was bigger than expected. Sewed an adjustable rickrack chinstrap on it and it works great - my 2 year old will love growing into this hat.

By clem It is large but I was able to sew a pleat in it that wasn't noticeable and he will be able to wear for another year! Very cute!
