It's Finn McMissle! Dec 01, 2011
By Beachlover We love these diecast cars, so when Cars 2 came out, I picked this and a Luigi up for my youngest to add to his Cars set. The quality seems on par with the others. The paint chips as easily, which annoys me, but that seems a hazard with cars that get trucked around and smashed into things on "rescue" missions.
The elegant British spy, Finn - loaded with gadgets & ready for action! Mar 25, 2013
By Grandma Zizzy Finn McMissile is #2 in the Cars 2 line of singles, and in the movie he has just about every gadget you could imagine! He's designed as a 1964 Aston Martin DB5, with the tailfins of a 1958 Peerless GT, and is VERY cool looking! You can impress your youngster by listing all of his attributes: four grappling hooks, spy camera, missile launcher, digital read-outs, glass cutter, magnetic explosives launcher, oil blaster, mounted quad harpoon gun, wheeled motorized jack, steel magnets on wheels, and deployable machine guns, surveillance probes & holographic disguise emitter! He can also go into "hydrofoil" and "submarine" modes! (The last two are actually available as "Deluxe" single models!) Finn & the other British spy, Holley Shiftwell, are supposed to meet with the American spy, Rod "Torque" Redline, who has info about a plot to sabotage the 3-country World Grand Prix race, but he ends up handing those plans off to Mater right before Grem & Acer capture him and bring him to his demise at the hands of the evil Professor Z! Our grandson became a Cars fanatic shortly before his 4th birthday, and we've been collecting them every since. They're SUPER durable, and we're sure they'll still be around for him to pass along to his own kids one day! We couldn't find him by himself at the retail level, but we got a great deal on a 2 pack with Finn & Tomber during a sale at Target, which equated to getting each for just $1.87, which was a steal!

I ordered this car as an Add-on to a spin track that I got for my nephew for a Christmas gift. We played with it and the Lightning McQueen that came with the track. This car is heavier and longer than the McQueen car and didnt work as well in Cars 2 Tokyo Spinout Track Set but we figured out that if you put this car in backwards it works much better. The car is a great addition even though it doesn't work great with that track though.

Not too sure about the metal/plastic material quality that the other reviewers mentioned. But one thing I know for sure, my nephew loves this toy car. And it certainly rolls smooth and far. I believe that in order to roll it far, one need a proper technique of rolling. Try exerting force angled 20-30 degrees downwards to the ground (instead of 0 degrees, parallel to the ground). This will prevent flipping of the car, as it is really light.
Hope this gift wouldn't break down on him in the near future.
